The strange story I reported on earlier remains strange.

The Calgary mother who was arrested when her child was found in a plastic bag in a dumpster, was being investigated for other possible incidents.  Although no bodies were ever found, Meredith Katherine Borowiec, 30, has indeed been charged with two more counts of infant murder.

Although this story takes place in Canada, I believe it still deserves attention.  Especially since Alberta has no Safe Haven laws that protect newborns from abandonment and mothers from prosecution.  If anyone reading this is a Canadian resident, I urge you to contact lawmakers and help protect the lives of babies.
