Sonia Hermosillo, 31, has been ruled competent to stand trial for the murder of her infant son which took place in August.

From what her husbands says, she suffered from post-partum depression which was exacerbated by the fact that her son was born with several medical issues.  Allegedly, she threw him from the fourth level of the hospital parking garage and killed him.   The death penalty will not be sought in this case, but she could be sentenced to life in prison.
