Sharon Worthy, 22 has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for her role in the death of her 3-year-old son.  It was actually her boyfriend who killed the boy (Curtis Copeland, 28, was given life in prison), but there appear to have been several points in this story at which Worthy could have saved her son by either taking him away from Copeland or calling the police.

Among other injuries, the little boy Jesse suffered a broken pelvis, broken vertebra, and a head injury.
