A woman in New York has been arrested for throwing her newborn down a garbage chute. Thankfully, the baby is safe since the trash compactor was jammed leaving a large amount of trash to cushion the fall. The baby fell 8 stories before landing on top of the garbage pile. A maintenance man saved the newborn after hearing crying coming from the chute. At last word, he was in stable condition at an area hospital.
What else can I say about a situation like this? Too sad.
