I love hearing about fundraisers for Safe Haven. There are people who care enough to use their precious time and resources to set up an event and make sure others get involved in Safe Haven charities.
This article also tells a short history of Nick Silverio who created the Safe Haven for Newborns in Florida. I won’t give away the whole article, but although he and his wife never had children, they had a lifelong dedication to them. He is truly an inspiring person.
