The tragic story on this link has an interesting evolution.
It begins with how the cause of death has been determined for the baby found in a Liverpool dumpster. Police had hoped that the child had been born stillborn and had held off on arresting the mother, Nicole DeJaynes. Unfortunately, cause of death was determined to be strangulation after a live birth.
The older stories are below the first and you can see the case unfold. Sadly, it appears that she had previously dealt with Child Protective Services regarding the care of her 5-year-old. The 5-year-old is staying with other family members while DeJaynes awaits trial.
