This article is an update on the state of Safe Haven Laws in Illinois.

It is another reminder that there is always an alternative to letting an infant die or leaving one in an unsafe place.  The article mentions that of the four babies that were found illegally abandoned, two died.  That is not very good odds for parents who are either unfamiliar with Safe Haven or afraid to seek help.  Once again, we encourage you to do the right thing.  Save lives.
