In the wake of the murder of twin babies by Jackie Burkle, 22, Iowa is wishing to send out a refresher to all residents on Safe Haven laws. There is no reason why these infants should have died.  It has not been made public whether Burkle was aware that Safe Haven laws existed, but either way, we urge you to spread the word to everyone you know.  If you yourself are not familiar with all of the particulars of these laws, please read more articles on this website or any other dedicated to this cause.
