No one is really sure what happened in this case.  The only facts we can see so far are that a mother took her baby into the woods near her Missouri home and when the police found them, both had knife wounds.  The baby survived despite having her throat slit.  There has been a lot of speculation on this case, but I do not want to report on rumors before all of the facts come to light.

As soon as we have some more details about who the culprit was for sure and what the reason for the incident was, I will be certain to give more commentary on it.  As of now, all I can say is that this baby did not deserve these wounds.  I hope she recovers without too much mental or physical scarring.
