I found an article regarding the Kiyana Higgins trial with many more details.

As I previously reported, her 1-year-old daughter died from malnourishment and she, her sister, and mother have all been indicted for murder one.  The first article I linked to did not mention that she has two other children that the women have also been allegedly abusing and that she was arrested for the same thing a few years ago.  Higgins also received a DUI in 2009 after driving on the wrong side of the road and crashing into a wall while her 18-month-old at the time daughter was in the car.  My gosh, I hope justice is served before anyone else is hurt.
