After that story last week, I have had just about all of the sadness I can take. This week will feature nothing but HAPPY stories!
First up is this article from the Signal Tribune Newspaper. The Los Angeles County Supervisor got a visit from one the abandoned newborns covered under the Safely Surrendered Baby Law in California. The article does not have much more information than we usually give you. It explains that the children must not be hurt or neglected and the parents must drop them off at a Safe Site to be free from prosecution. Yet, the picture is priceless. We see an adorable young boy (and very well dressed!) in the arms of the very happy mother who got to adopt him. It brings a smile to my face.
