I just read an article reporting another baby found abandoned in a dumpster. Thankfully, this turned out much better than the last one. The baby is alive and well after being found by John VandenBos. It is an absolute miracle that he did. He found the baby hidden inside a box while looking for cans to recycle. It was trash day and if the truck had come by before John was able to rescue the baby, I don’t even want to think about what could have happened if they didn’t see him.
Now I know that we beg you every day to get the word out about Safe Haven Laws… and for good reason! Yet, is there anyone out there who would abandon a child in a dumpster because they are confused about the laws? I doubt it! This is just pure cruelty.
