Here is another article about the same baby I reported on earlier today. The child was actually found the night before trash pickup was due. Temperatures were down into the 30s that night, which is obviously not conducive to the health of a newborn. They estimated the child to be approximately 2 hours old at the time she was found.
In Michigan, where this occurred, child abandonment is a felony and comes with a possible 2 year incarceration term. I certainly hope the parent is found and brought to justice. Poor baby.
