Here is an updated article about the infant boy found in a toilet at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, SC that we reported several weeks ago here at One By One.
Authorities are still looking for the mother who abandoned her child and put him in this awful and dangerous situation. He was found approximately 2 hours after birth suffering from hypothermia. They are scanning the surveillance tapes in the building and may resort to using DNA to locate the culprit. If found it is likely that she will be criminally charged for her actions. They are hoping the father or a friend of the culprit will come forward for the sake of the child. It should be fairly easy to remember a woman who was pregnant at the time and now has no child in her possession. I sincerely hope someone will be brave enough to step forward. This poor child deserves justice.
