I have an update for you on the baby killed with a cinderblock.

Christopher Fitzpatrick has pled guilty to first-degree murder of his baby girl and will receive life prison without parole.  Prosecutors agreed not to seek the death penalty if he agreed to testify against the mother, Jennifer Barrise.  She is now facing charges of criminal homicide and concealing the death of a child.

I would like to remind everyone once again that there are Safe Haven Laws in every state that allow a parent to safely relinquish their parental rights at a hospital, fire station, and several other locations without any consequences.  There was no need for this child to die just because she was unwanted by the parents.
