Two teenage parents dropped their sleeping baby of at Porter hospital. No drama. The child was within the 45-day age limit for newborns protected under the Safe Haven Act and he was safe and unharmed.
Cheers to any parent who is educated on these laws and wants to be sure their child has a good life. Many, many people would love to have children, but are unable to. There is no shame in wanting to provide a better life for your child than you are able to provide them… as long as that is accomplished in the right way, like these teens did.
