This article has a really good point.  It mentioned that if you are concerned about a friend or family member that is about to give birth, you should bring up Safe Haven laws.  Now, obviously you should not be telling them to give the child up, but just asking if they know about the laws is a good idea.

So many people do not know about the laws.  All of these stories I report on are completely unnecessary.  The majority of these parents MUST have friends and family members that know they are pregnant.  Why does no one ever wonder what happens to the children when they are no longer pregnant?  I have never once heard of one of these newborns being discovered because a friend or family though to inquire.  These babies deserve justice.
