Another tragedy has struck the city of Tasmania. A child was found abandoned and dead in Kingston Park along with the umbilical cord and placenta. An autopsy was unable to discover the cause of death.
Police in the area are going house-to-house and inquiring at local schools to see if anyone has any information on who the mother could be. A shrine has formed in the park in memory of the baby girl. Of course, the real tragedy of the situation is that the mother could have given the baby anonymously to a safe haven without any fear of repercussions.
