The case of the infant found abandoned in a Bella Estates Apartments dumpster has still not been solved at the time of this article. We have high hopes that the culprit will soon be found.
This article also reviews some other abandonments in the area. One of these other cases is particularly gruesome. You can read a few of the details in this article, but prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in the case. It has some unusual circumstances, but I wish all parents were aware of the repercussions of infant abandonment and infanticide. I feel like some people just do not see that killing an infant is just as bad as killing a fully-grown adult. In fact, the punishments can be the same.
