Nunu Sung’s fate has finally been decided by a DuPage County judge.

If you remember, Sung was a refugee from Myanmar who gave birth outside and left her newborn son cold and naked behind some bushes.  She has maintained throughout this ordeal that she has intended on coming back for the boy.  The judge rejected this argument and has declared Sung an unfit mother.  She is able to appeal, of course, but right now it looks like she will never be able to get back custody of the little boy who was treated for hypothermia after being found by neighbor hours after birth.

She is currently in prison for lying to police about the incident.
