It covers the Dallas Fire Department and their efforts to make sure every staff member knows what to do when an infant is dropped off. This year instead of simply having them read the guidelines, a representative from Baby Moses Dallas taught a class.
Did you know that there is absolutely no state funding in Texas for Safe Haven awareness? Even the signs that are put up to identify a safe haven are paid for by non-profit companies dedicated to protecting unwanted babies from harm. I am so grateful to the men and women who are dedicated to education on Safe Haven Laws.
