Colorado residents probably remember baby Mary Louise. Although Safe Haven laws had been passed in Colorado the year before, her abandonment still occurred and many local residents will forever remember her.
A religious service was held to remind everyone that safe havens still exist and there are options out there for pregnant women unable or unwilling to care for their children. A list of these valuable resources for women was passed out at the memorial just as it was 10 years prior.
