The case of the baby who was found in a bag in a Winona County River remains unsolved.
Although many tips have come in with leads, police are still no closer to finding the parents who may know what happened to the child. Autopsy results are still inconclusive as to the cause of death, which further complicates investigations. Since the case remains cold and the baby was found in a tourist location over Labor Day weekend, police will probably need to expand the investigation outside of the local area.
